Whitney Houston’s ex-husband Bobby Brown got really candid in his latest documentary “Biography: Bobby Brown.” The 53-year-old singer revealed that he was molested by a priest when he was a young boy.
“Some things are hard to forget.”
Singer Bobby Brown shared his personal experiences in his latest docuseries “Biography: Bobby Brown.”
In a two-part docuseries, the 53-year-old singer revealed his life’s trauma as well as victories, both in his personal and professional life. One of the most shocking revelations made by the singer was about his childhood when he claims he was molested by a priest.
Brown shared that it happened when his mother was arrested and he was sent to a religious place for safety by the social services.
When my mother was arrested, I was sent to temporary custody by social services which was supposed to be a religious place,” Brown said. “It was not a nice place to be as a child.”
He then explained that one of the priests tried to touch him and it was inapproriate.
“One of the priests tried to molest me. He tried to touch my private parts. There was no penetration or anything. He touched my privates and I didn’t like that.”
Brown said that he didn’t like what was happening and acted on it to defend himself.
“I punched and kicked and punched some more until he got away from me; so I ran away from there as quickly as possible,” he explained.
“At that time I was a young boy I didn’t know what sexual boundaries were. I just knew I didn’t like being touched. Some things are hard to forget,” he added.
