Too Short Becomes Dad for First Time at Age 53

In December 2018, renowned rapper Too Short, born Todd Shaw, welcomed his first child at the age of 53. His girlfriend, Sue, gave birth to their daughter, Yani Shaw. 

Following Yani’s birth, Too Short collaborated with Ray J and his manager, David Weintraub, on a documentary focusing on their experiences raising daughters in Hollywood. 

When asked about becoming a father later in life, Too Short explained that he had been focused on his career and personal pursuits, which contributed to his decision to embrace fatherhood at this stage.
