There are celebrity wax figures… and then there’s Usher’s.

The R&B superstar recently came face-to-face with his newly unveiled wax figure at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, and his reaction had everyone laughing. The likeness was so convincing that Usher joked, “It looks more like me than me.”

🕺 A Wax Figure That Looks Ready for the Stage

The figure captures Usher in the style of his Las Vegas residency, complete with a skeleton-inspired biker jacket, gloves, red roller skates and his signature “U” chain. The attention to detail reportedly even impressed Usher himself, who specifically praised the recreation of his eyes.

And this wasn’t a quick sculpting job. Twenty artists reportedly spent nine months creating the figure, using extensive measurements and photographs to capture Usher’s features as accurately as possible.

Rather than being creeped out by his wax twin, Usher seemed genuinely entertained by the whole experience.

He joked that fans would want to take pictures with the figure—and even playfully warned that somebody might try to walk away with the “U” chain.

His reaction was the perfect combination of disbelief, pride and humor.
