Cindy Crawford’s son Presley Gerber dies aged 27

Presley Gerber, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has died at the age of 27.

The former model died on Sunday, September 20, at a rehabilitation facility in Los Angeles, according to records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.

His death was confirmed by Allie Jenkins, a representative for Cindy and Rande Gerber, who asked for privacy on behalf of the family.

‘The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time,’ Jenkins said in a statement.

Brooklyn Beckham and Paris Hilton have led tributes to their friend Presley, who was Cindy and Rande’s only son and the brother of model and actress Kaia Gerber.

Posting on Instagram, Brooklyn said: ”I am so heartbroken. Presley you were the kindest and we are going to miss you somuch x we love you.’

Writing on her Instagram stories, Paris shared a photo of herself with Presley alongside the caption: ‘I’m completely heartbroken. I still can’t believe this is real.

‘Presley, you were such a beautiful soul. So sweet, sensitive, kind and genuine. I cared about you so much, and I’m going to miss you more than words can say.

‘You had such a gentle heart and there was something so special about you that anyone who was lucky enough to know you could feel.’

Presley’s cause of death has not yet been disclosed, with an autopsy still pending.

Presley followed in his mother’s modelling footsteps after being signed by IMG Models at the age of 15.

He made his runway debut for Moschino in Los Angeles in 2016 and went on to work with major brands including Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana and Celine.

But in recent years, Presley has also spoken publicly about his struggles with mental health and addiction.

Just months before his death, Cindy praised her ‘warrior’ son after he discussed doing an Ibogaine treatment, which is reported to help withdrawal symptoms and reset brain pathways, in an Instagram post.

After Presley shared a post about his experience, Cindy wrote in the comments section: ‘You are a warrior! Walked thru the fire to find yourself! So proud!’

Kaia also added: ‘That’s my brother. I am so damn proud.’

His dad, Rande, similarly said: ‘I’m so proud of you and your courage. Facing what’s hard takes real strength and watching you find your way back to yourself is everything. I love you so much.’

Presley frequently used social media to discuss his recovery and had been open about dealing with depression and panic attacks.

In December 2025, he spoke about his mental health and medication in a post that was later deleted.

His struggles had also been discussed publicly by his sister Kaia, who described his battle with addiction as a long-running family struggle.

Presley was arrested for driving under the influence in January 2019.

Later that year, he was sentenced to three years’ probation, ordered to complete a DUI programme and given two days of community service.

His death comes after he made a rare public appearance with his family earlier this year, supporting Kaia at an event in May.

Presley’s family have asked for privacy as they mourn his death.
