Kim Kardashian Launches ‘Divorce’ Perfume: A Bold New Fragrance
Claims that Kim Kardashian is preparing to launch a perfume titled Divorce are circulating widely across social media. Still, the reports have not been backed by any official announcement from Kardashian or her businesses.
Posts referencing the alleged fragrance — often paired with the tagline “Freedom never smelled this good” — began appearing on platforms including X, Instagram, and Facebook on Jan. 2, 2026. None of the posts link to verified statements from Kardashian, her representatives, or her official brand accounts, and no such product appears on any Skims-affiliated channels.
As of publication, there is no confirmation that a fragrance called Divorce is in development.
The fragrance in question was actually launched in September 2024 by Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, a Dubai princess and daughter of the UAE’s Vice President and Prime Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Divorce marked the debut release from her luxury fragrance label, Mahra M1.
The perfume followed Sheikha Mahra’s highly publicized divorce announcement earlier that summer. In July 2024, she went viral after posting a blunt Instagram message declaring the end of her marriage. This move sparked widespread conversation about women’s autonomy and empowerment in conservative and royal contexts.
Weeks later, Divorce was unveiled as a symbolic extension of that moment, reframing the end of a marriage as a time for independence and renewal rather than loss.
While the rumor remains unverified, Kardashian has been clear about her plans in the fragrance space.
During an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast in October 2025, Kardashian confirmed that Skims Beauty is set to launch in 2026, expanding the shapewear label into makeup, skincare and fragrance. The move follows the closure of her previous beauty ventures, KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance, which were discontinued in 2022 as part of a broader brand reset.
Kardashian also noted that future beauty and fragrance releases — including potential recreations of fan-favorite KKW products — would be housed entirely under the Skims brand, rather than launched as standalone lines.
Notably, Kardashian has not announced a fragrance named Divorce, nor has Skims teased any product using that title.
The alleged Divorce perfume appears to have originated as a speculative or humorous social media post that gained traction without verification. The theme aligns loosely with Kardashian’s highly publicized divorce from Kanye West and her candid discussions about personal challenges over the past year, which may have helped fuel the speculation.
However, without confirmation from Kardashian or her team, there is no evidence that the product exists.
Kardashian is expected to re-enter the fragrance market in 2026 through Skims Beauty, but any claims about a perfume titled “Divorce” remain unsubstantiated. Fans should look to official Skims and Kim Kardashian channels for legitimate announcements as her beauty expansion continues.
