Social media influencer Celina Powell accused rapper Offset of threatening her life after allegedly refusing to pay her $15,000 he owes, posting on Instagram that she has been living in fear due to repeated threats.
In a series of Instagram Stories on Jan. 9, 2026, Powell wrote, “If ANYTHING happens to me OFFSET did it,” and “tired of this grown man threatening me almost everyday and got me living in fear cuz he owes me 15k+ i tried to get my money back for weeks and all i’ve gotten is threats…. @offset.” She shared a recorded FaceTime call where Offset allegedly said, “Think shit sweet. The shit ain’t sweet, mama,” in a threatening tone.
The allegations come a week after Powell posted a video of herself in bed with Offset, whom she claimed she spent New Year’s with, captioning it, “made a tape last night & all u heard was him in the video lol offset you sleepy boy.” Powell implied they recorded an intimate video, which she promoted on her OnlyFans page.
Powell and Offset have a history dating back to 2017, when he accused her of attempting to extort him for $50,000 in exchange for an abortion, a claim she later admitted was fabricated. In 2021, she made similar allegations about Offset offering her money for an abortion, which Cardi B publicly denied.
The post shared on X by @BardisMedia garnered significant attention, with users commenting on Offset’s alleged behavior. One user wrote, “On drugs and borrowing money from escorts to pay off gambling debts but the internet will try to convince you ‘OFFSET WON’.” Another said, “He’s a broke bum who is desperate and dangerous.”
Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, is amid a contentious divorce from rapper Cardi B, filed in 2024.
