Snoop Dogg’s Golden Globes 2026 Appearance Gets Standing Ovation From Crowd

Snoop Dogg brought the crowd at the Beverly Hilton to their feet at the 2026 Golden Globes as he stepped onstage to present the inaugural award for Best Podcast during the Jan. 11 ceremony.

Snoop Dogg’s latest appearance ain’t nothing but a Globes thing.

The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper earned a standing ovation at the 2026 Golden Globes in Beverly Hills, Calif., Jan. 11 as he walked onstage at the Beverly Hilton to present the inaugural award for Best Podcast, which he told the crowd was “a very important category for me.”

“Before podcasts, I was what you all listened to driving around in your cars,” he joked during the ceremony hosted by Nikki Glaser. “To you podcasters, y’all better hope I don’t get in that game.”

And after presenting the award to Amy Poehler for her Good Hang podcast, the Parks and Recreation alum shared that she was thrilled to share the stage with the hip-hop icon.

“This is exactly how I pictured it: Snoop giving me the award,” she said as she collected her statuette. “I don’t know about award shows, but when they get it right, it makes sense.
