The star, who is widely popular for playing the role of Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, shared how the filming of the show’s most intense scenes arose with some major consequences.
This includes a scene where she had to get intimate with three men, and she says that it was so grueling for her. In one instance, she broke her rib while shooting the scene with different actors.
The scene featured some very intimate choreography that had her performing physically demanding actions for hours at a stretch.
This was not only painful physically, but also so mentally exhausting for her, she added.
Clarke says that experience took a serious toll on her health, and in the end, she had to deal with a lot of bed rest to recover. “It might seem like a bed of roses when you watch it, but what many don’t realize is that the filming is complex and took a serious toll on me”- the star revealed.
