Remember this – A Maryland hairstylist sentenced to 5 years, 6 months suspended sentence for dragging client in viral video.

A 19-year-old Maryland hairstylist, Jayla A. Cunningham, has been sentenced after a viral video showed her assaulting a 15-year-old client during a dispute over payment.
The incident occurred in Prince Georgeโ€™s County when Cunningham dragged the teenager by her hair and removed her weave after believing the client was attempting to leave without paying for a $150 service.
The video, which Cunningham initially posted herself, spread widely online and was later used as key evidence in court.
Cunningham was convicted of second-degree assault and sentenced to five years in prison, with all but six months suspended.
She will serve six months of home detention, followed by probation, and must complete anger management and mental health treatment as part of her sentence.
