Nationwide — Eddie Levert’s daughter, Ryan Levert, has died at the age of 22 after battling lupus. Eddie has been mourning the death of his children for years, as Ryan is the third of his children to die.The heartbreaking news was confirmed by Carlysia Levert, daughter of Eddie’s late son, Gerald Levert, who shared photos of Ryan on Instagram and thanked supporters for their thoughts and prayers, according to Essence.

Ryan, who appeared on the podcast The Levert Opinion with her father and Gerald’s son, LeMicah Levert, was known for her vibrant personality.

Eddie, an R&B legend and member of the O’Jays, has faced significant loss in recent years, having lost both his sons Gerald in 2006 and Sean in 2008. They died at age 40 and 39, respectively.

Eddie shared Ryan with his wife, Raquel Capelton, and has four other adult children, including daughter Kandice from his previous marriage to Martha.
