A livestream of Adrien Broner is making rounds on social media, showing 19-year-old Aya Tanjali calling him out for making her feel uneasy after he touched her. The video shows Aya sitting next to AB, and as she gets up and walks away, he tries to get her attention and taps her on the derriere and legs. As the video continues, another man tells Adrien to chill as Aya stands outside. Then she proceeds to leave the location, and as she walks out, she tells the livestream chat that it was the first time she’s ever been touched inappropriately.

“That is the first time somebody slapped my a** or try some s**t on me. I’ve never like, ever like. Like that’s crazy, that’s honestly so crazy.” She continued, “And I really hope he apologizes, cause I know he’s drunk, but being drunk doesn’t excuse your behavior […] but that’s just like all around weird.”

Additionally, she told the chat that the incident with Adrien almost brought her to tears. “I lowkey wanted to cry in that moment,” Aya added.

As social media weighed in on Adrien and Aya’s interaction, AB spoke exclusively with The Shade Room and shared his thoughts. He said he apologizes and wanted to speak with Aya directly, but he still thinks she overreacted.

“Man ain’t nobody violated that girl she over doing it. Tell her I said I’m sorry and I apologize call or text me.”

Aya also weighed in on the situation. In a lengthy message on her Instagram Sotry, she called out the KickChamp Twitter page for spreading false info that she planned to press charges against AB. She said she never planned to take legal action against him. However, she doubled down on feeling uncomfortable around him, but after watching the clip, she did notice he didn’t mean any harm by touching her. Still, she feels a man should never put his hands on a woman regardless of the circumstance

“At the same time, I still feel like no man should be putting their hands on a woman in a way that can make her feel uncomfortable, intentional or not.” She continued, “I did notice him looking before tapping me, so I understand why people may view the clip differently from both sides.”

Aya also said she wants people to stop blowing the situation out of proportion and spreading misleading information about her.

“I just want people to stop spreading false information and turning this into something bigger than what it is. Thank you to everyone who checked on me and showed love.”
