Snoop Dogg Asks For Prayers From Friends and Family
All does not seem well with Iconic rapper Snoop Dogg and his family. This was suggested in some posts where he sought prayers for his mother and himself from fans and followers.
Iconic rapper Snoop Dogg’s constant love and support for the family, immediate and extended, is well known by the masses. Feeling his love this time is his mother, Beverly Broadus.
The 49-year-old in a recent post on his Instagram page sought prayers for his mother and himself from his fans and followers with a caption that read: “sending special prayers out for my mom this morning. Y’all pray for her and me ??.”

The post had a seemingly beautiful picture of his 70-year-old mother dazzling in a red dress. Snoop’s mom accessorized her look with a matching red hat and a pair of earrings while holding onto a perfect bouquet.
A few hours later, the father-of-four shared a video of himself asking for prayers. He added he was being tested at the period and needed to be strong.
Snoop had released an angry video where he called out Gayle King.
Celebrities were not left out, with the likes of Freeway Ricky, Nia Long, and a host of others sending prayers, love, and words of encouragement. Other users dropped heartfelt emojis.
A saying goes, behind every successful man is a woman. For the songwriter, it was his mother who had been a constant source of love and support.
With her husband leaving months after their son was born, Beverly was left with the sole responsibility of looking after her son, hence, the emotional relationship that exists between Snoop and her.
Over a week ago, Snoop took out time to celebrate Beverly on the occasion of her 70th birthday via an Instagram post on his page. The caption accompanying the post portrayed lots of love.
It could be said that Beverly has a firm grip and influence on her son following an apology Snoop tendered after an altercation with Gayle King last year.
Snoop had released an angry video where he called out King for being out of pocket with her questions on sexual charges against Kobe Bryant in an interview.
The iconic singer, in his apology, noted that his mother raised him in the church and taught him to be respectful towards women. Snoop, who would be turning fifty soon, is a father to four lovely children.
Ladies and gentlemen, friends and fans, I come before you today with a heavy heart and a humble request. Life, as we know it, is a series of ups and downs, and right now, I find myself in one of those challenging downs. I’ve always tried to be real with y’all, to share my joys and my struggles, because we’re all in this journey together. Today, I ask for your prayers, your positive energy, and your thoughts as I navigate through a difficult time.
You see, my mother, the woman who brought me into this world and raised me with love and care, has left us. She was more than just a mother to me; she was my rock, my confidante, and my guiding light. Her passing has left a void in my heart that words can hardly describe. The pain of losing her is immeasurable, and I find myself grappling with emotions I’ve never experienced before.
In moments like these, I lean on my faith and the support of my family, friends, and fans. Your love and encouragement have carried me through the highs and lows of life, and I believe that your prayers can provide solace in this dark hour. It’s easy to forget, in the midst of our busy lives, the power that collective positive energy can hold. So, I humbly ask you to send your prayers, your thoughts, and your well wishes to not just me, but to my family as well.
Grief is a journey, and each individual navigates it uniquely. For me, music has always been a means of expression, a way to channel my emotions and share my experiences. I’ve poured my heart and soul into my art, and now, more than ever, I’m drawing upon that outlet to help heal. Creating music has been a therapeutic process for me, a way to honor my mother’s memory and share the wisdom she imparted upon me.
I’ve always believed in the power of unity, and that belief is stronger now than ever before. As I face this challenging chapter of my life, I find strength in the connections we’ve forged through music and shared experiences. Life may throw curveballs, but together, we can stand strong and face them head-on. Your prayers are not just a source of comfort for me; they remind me that we are all part of a larger community, capable of offering support and compassion to one another.
To my fans, you’ve been there with me through thick and thin. Your unwavering loyalty and enthusiasm have fueled my creative journey, and I can’t thank you enough. In times like these, I’m reminded that music transcends barriers and connects us on a deeper level. Let’s continue to share these moments, even as we navigate the challenges that life throws our way.
My mother taught me many things, and one of the most important lessons was the value of love and kindness. She was a source of unconditional love, and I strive to carry that legacy forward. In her honor, I’m reaching out to you all, asking for your prayers and positive energy not just for me, but for anyone who is going through a difficult time. Let’s create a ripple effect of compassion and healing that spreads far and wide.
In closing, I want you to know that your prayers matter. They provide strength when I feel weak, comfort when I’m in pain, and a reminder that I’m not alone on this journey. I am deeply grateful for your support and love, and I’m committed to returning to the stage stronger, more inspired, and ready to share the music that comes from my heart. Let’s continue to uplift one another, for in unity and empathy, we find our truest strength. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
