US rapper Zeddy Will – who got five women pregnant at the same time – hosts joint baby shower, sparking internet frenzy

A man who held a joint baby shower for five different women – all of whom are carrying his children – has sent the internet into a frenzy after one of the mums-to-be shared their unconventional arrangement on social media.

Lizzy Ashliegh, a 29-year-old from Brooklyn, New York, claimed in a video that she and the four other women had all fallen pregnant to the same man – 22-year-old rapper Zeddy Will – at around the same time, with each of them currently expecting.

Ashliegh’s footage from the joint baby shower on January 14 has since gone viral on TikTok, amassing a staggering 10.7 million views, almost a million likes and over 16,000 comments at the time of writing.

“When your baby daddy got four other girls pregnant at the same time,” she captioned the clip, in which she showed off one of the invites to the shower and filmed the other mums-to-be proudly displaying their baby bumps at the event in Queens.

“I guess we Sister Wives now [sic],” she added.

The invite in question featured a photo of Zeddy Will surrounded by the five women, with text reading: “Welcome little Zeddy Wills 1 [to] 5.”

In a follow-up video, Ashliegh filmed Will making a speech at the women’s baby shower, which she captioned: “We can’t change the fact that he’s our baby daddy and everything happens for a reason.

“We’ve decided to work together and our families are supportive of our decision.”

In a separate clip, a makeup artist who helped the five women get ready for the event said they were all “so supportive of each other for their kids”, claiming it was “one of the most fun baby showers” she’d been to.

“Congrats and good luck to the soon-to-be family of 11,” she added.

Ashliegh also shared a series of photos of her, Will and the four other mums-to-be to her TikTok, in which she elaborated on their decision to support one another through each other’s pregnancies.

“We’ve accepted each other. It’s better for the little ones,” she said. “We decided to have the baby shower on the same day.”

In one pic, Ashliegh revealed she and one of the other expecting women had very similar due dates and mused whether it would make the babies twins.

“Staying happy for the baby – he’s gonna be born into a big family [sic],” she added. “We love our baby daddy. We will not ruin our babies’ lives.

“Nothing left to do but to support each other. Takes a village indeed!”

The response to the women’s unusual situation has been divided, with the initial video sparking a frenzy in the comments section as viewers speculated on the veracity of the arrangement.

Others applauded the women for forming friendships with one another for the sake of the children, all of whom will be half-siblings.

“The only thing that matters here is if he is able and capable of taking care of all of them and their babies,” one viewer wrote, while a second joked: “What in the Nick Cannon is this?”

Nick Cannon, a television host and rapper, has repeatedly made headlines for fathering children with different women; at the time of writing, he has welcomed 12 children with six mothers.

However, many remain sceptical of the arrangement, with numerous viewers questioning whether the situation has been fabricated to generate publicity for Ashliegh and Zeddy Will’s respective music careers.

According to reports, Ashliegh has previously made headlines after she was involved in an altercation with a New York lawyer as she performed on the street.

Zeddy Will, meanwhile, has been racking up millions of streams on TikTok with over six million followers and over 1.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

In a statement to TMZ Hip Hop, Shawn Prez, Zeddy Will’s co-manager, said: “Society has shifted, and in turn so has modern relationship dynamics. The essence lies in redefining relationships personally, breaking away from the one-size-fits-all approach and societal pressures to conform.

“Individuals should be allowed to craft relationships that align with their values, desires, boundaries, and aspirations… Nick Cannon serves as a notable example of successful polyamory, highlighting that the definition of a relationship is a personal choice.”
